Got the last official spot in the 2009 U.S. Open field by winning the St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tenn., by five strokes and thus winning his second PGA Tour title of 2009 (Any multiple PGA Tour winner from the 2008 U.S. Open to June 14, 2009 is exempt)
Claimed first title of the season at Verizon Heritage (won by 10 strokes)
First PGA Tour win came at 2008 Mayokoba Classic
Member of 1993 USA Walker Cup team
Stroke-play medalist at 1993 U.S. Amateur
Two-time All-American at Florida
Along with PGA Tour member Chris Couch, led Florida to 1993 NCAA Division I team title
