PERSONAL NOTES
Enjoyed best season on PGA Tour in 2008 with more than $2.2 million in earnings (No. 22 on FedEx Cup) and five top-10s, including solo second at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.Says biggest thrill in golf was playing a practice round with Jack Nicklaus at the 1997 British Open at Royal Troon.
Lists Hall of Fame basketball player Larry Bird as his hero.
Inducted into the Henderson State University (Arkedelphia, Ark.) Hall of Fame, where he was an all-conference and all-district performer during his four seasons on campus.
Has yet to win on the PGA Tour, but did claim the 2006 BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs on the Nationwide Tour. Also won twice on the Canadian Tour in 1999.
Is an avid fisherman.
